CURRICULUM

Our highly qualified educators are ready to help students achieve their goals with proven methods tailored to their learning styles. We support students of all ages looking to both strengthen their foundations and improve their performance.

Learning Styles

ADHD

Attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is marked by an ongoing pattern of inattention and/or hyperactivity-impulsivity that interferes with functioning or development. Our educators can help students with techniques to increase focus and short-term memory.

Functional Vision

One in four students struggle with functional vision. These problems can lead to difficulties with classroom learning and even behavioral problems. The Learning Lab is the only educational center in Southeast Missouri that offers functional vision screenings.

Other Learning Disabilities
  • Dyscalculia

  • Dysgraphia

  • Non-verbal learning disabilities

  • Oral/ written language disorder

  • Reading comprehension deficit

  • Dyspraxia

Dyslexia

Dyslexia is a learning disorder that involves difficulty reading due to problems identifying speech sounds and learning how they relate to letters and words (decoding). Also called reading disability, dyslexia affects areas of the brain that process language.

Reflex Integration

Babies are born with protective reflexes that are expected to fade over time during a child's development. When these reflexes don't go away on their own, they can cause developmental issues that interfere with your child's learning.
